Welcome to the domain of Edward Sun, a Canadian web entrepenuer.

With six years of experience, I have developed numerous websites for both myself and my clients. My projects heavily involve PHP, MySQL, CSS, and AJAX, and more recently, I have been experimenting with Ruby on Rails.

In 2007, I also picked up a hobby of flipping websites. I buy sites, renovate them, and sell them for a higher price when suitable. This requires a fair amount of internet marketing knowledge, and I am still working on it. It's actually quite fun, and when done right, quite rewarding too.

A little bit about this in particular. This site is a showcase of parts of what I've done on the web, and I tried to keep it straightforward and uncluttered. I love simplicity, and I keep all fancy decorative images out of my designs. This version (July 2008) was created with one simple background pattern, two gradients, one image for all the top buttons, and some small icons used to make the side menu look nicer. Everything else (even the logo) is purely CSS.

It is worth noting that this portfolio is far from a complete story. Some of my clients have preferred to keep the work I have done private, and many of the sites I sold are no longer active.
