I am a Canadian undergraduate student pursuing two degrees at two universities: Computer Science (University of Waterloo) and
Business Administration (Wilfrid Laurier University).
Let's just say it's a little complicated -
kind of like being involved in two romantic relationships at the same time.
I find great interest in trying to understand diverse perspectives and individual paradigms, the building blocks of society's operations. This is really fun
and enlightening, and often sparks my other interest,
conceiving and implementing innovative ideas that strive to create a meaningful social impact.
I've tried to do a little of that in the past, and at times got somewhat lucky. I took about a 2-year hiatus from technology in my upper years of high school,
when revolutionary changes took effect with the expolosive growth of social media. Right now, I always feel like I am in a position of playing catch-up, but I am not complaining - I love
every minute of it. Feel free to take a look at some of my past and present stuff if you're interested. I've condensed them all to fit this minimalist page.

From 2004 to 2009, I was actively involved in designing, programming, founding, and flipping websites.
Over the course of five years, the sites that I worked on (mine + clients') attracted somewhere between 10 to 15 million visitors from
around the world. This space is dedicated to providing a sample of what I did during that time period (I emphasize this because
my style now is quite different).
For more information, feel free to see this stuff in more detail.

I still try to maintain some of my websites, including Tutorial Monkey and Videyos. However, I am now largely involved in mobile development, making apps for iOS, BlackBerry and Android. With websites, I now prefer faster-to-create, simple apps that can leverage the marketing power of social media. I'm getting into Rails and Django (slowly), but still prefer PHP for now. To keep up with what I do, or to find a current copy of my resume, feel free to visit me on LinkedIn.

I am always interested in your questions, comments, rants, or whatever it is you have on your beautiful mind.
